Nigeria has dropped to 31 in the latest FIFA World Rankings for the month of April which was released on Thursday. The Black Stars of Ghana slipped down to two places but they are still the second in Africa. Ghana is now ranked 22nd in the World.
The Super Eagles needed a last-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Kenya in Calabar, in a World Cup qualifying match and that result has seen them drop from the 30th spot they sat for the past two months.
However, Nigeria is still fourth in Africa, behind Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana and Mali.
World champions Spain are still locked up as the number one ahead of Germany and Argentina.
